Please read the following information carefully. If you wish to attend, forward your payment to Paul Braunwart. Checks should be payable to ‘Hebron Boy Scout Troop 28’. Payment is due on or before January 22, 2020.

WHAT:
We will ski or snowboard all day Saturday, and at least ¾ day on Sunday. This is a Troop 28 event and is not associated with any BSA council.

WHEN:
Meet Friday evening January 31st, at 6:00pm at Hebron Elementary School. Attendees will return Sunday evening, February 2nd.

WHO:
Interest in this year’s trip is expected to be very high. There is a limit of 30 participants for this trip based on sleeping accommodations. Scout and leader registrations are due by Wednesday January 15th. Paid registrations, up to January 22nd will be accepted using the following priority: 1) current T28 scouts, 2) registered adult leaders, and 3) Troop 28 family members. If there are still slots available after January 15th, we will accept registrations for family members. Some prior skiing experience is recommended.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
Our Troop has again reserved the basement of the West Dover Congregational Church (WDCC). This church is just a few minutes from our ski area. WDCC caters to ski groups, and boasts a 1000 ft2 main room, a full kitchen, restrooms, a shower, a large flat screen TV with cable, and they provide cots! In contrast to other Scout events, Scouts may bring small personal electronic games or other devices. Bringing board games and cards is encouraged. Everyone should bring a sleeping bag, pillow and pad.

If you will not be meeting the troop at Hebron Elementary, but plan to drive to West Dover independent of the group, please let us know this in advance and do not arrive at WDCC prior to 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

MEALS:
Everyone should eat dinner before departure on Friday or bring a brown bag meal. Troop 28 leaders will be serving a first-rate hot breakfast on both Saturday & Sunday morning and dinner on Saturday evening. Snacks will also be provided by the Troop on Friday and Saturday evenings. Lunch on Saturday and Sunday will be an out-of-pocket expense for each person or you may bring your own lunch made at home in advance.
